Free Sports/Extracurricular Physicals
On Wednesday, August 4th our school physician, Dr. Andrew Nelson will be providing free sports/extracurricular physicals in the NEHS nurse’s office from 2-6pm. These physicals are on a first come, first serve basis so get there early. Also, please make sure that the first 3 pages of Packet #1 are filled out by the parent/guardian before you see the doctor or else you will not be able to get a physical.
Physical paperwork can be picked up in the main office, in the training room, or can be printed out from Mr. Sawicki’s website http://nehs.newegypt.us/Departments/Athletic%20Trainer/ATChome.html.
FYI- All fall physicals must be turned in to Mr. Sawicki by August 12th to be eligible to play a fall sport.

Reading Around the World Winner
Anna Farrand is the grand prize winner of the “Reading Around the World” program. She has selected her color for the laptop computer (green) and it should arrive before school is out. Congratulations to Anna and all those who participated. In total, NEMS students read for 66,000 minutes while participating in this program.

Reading Around the World
To cap off the success of the middle school’s “Reading Around the World” reading incentive program, on Monday, May 17th, a hot-air balloon demonstration was conducted by the Clip Away Ballooning Company! The company’s pilot flew up 15 staff members (2 at a time) including Mrs. Caldes and Mr. Osmond in a tethered balloon, as the entire student body watched with excitement! Everyone had a great time celebrating the conclusion of this 7 month program. Congratulations to all of our middle school readers! More pictures...

These physicals are on a first come, first serve basis so please get there early. Also, please make sure that the first 3 pages of Packet #1 are filled out by the parent/guardian before you see the doctor or you will not be able to get a physical.
